Looking to live the rural life?  Goshen County Wyoming is a great place to live.  We have great public schools and one very active private school.  Our city golf course is fantastic with a challenging back nine.  But maybe you are more of a rodeo family? The Eastern Wyoming College Rodeo team is consistently one of the best plus there are plenty of rodeo's and ranch rodeos at our beautiful fair grounds. Plus the EW College is pretty great with smaller class sizes and plenty of one on one and our welding and tech are fantastic.  Banner Health runs our Community Hospital and has recently invested over $30Million into modernizing healthcare in Goshen County.  Also the community boasts a wonderful care center for elderly patients that need extra care including a memory care unit.  But if your loved one isn't ready for full time nursing care we have a brand new assisted living facility, Evergreen Plaza and a room and board facility, Evergreen Court.

Shopping is also fantastic in Goshen County.  Each community has their own unique shops, bars and restaurants.  Torrington has the famous Bread Doctor Bakery.  And yes he is actually one of our Docs!  A European bakery that has lines every Thursday -Saturday with people coming from all over to get fresh bread and pastries.  Next door the Town Market houses a kitchen and home goods shop along with a florist (Wagners Flowers) and upscale liquor sales.  They also have a wonderful selection of steaks in the big freezer from Bear Mountain Beef!  But then you expect that living in cow country.  BY THE WAY its really good beef! Finally if you are a quilter or know a quilter Goshen County boasts one of the areas best quilting shops, Sew Addicting.  FYI I might be a bit biased as the owner is my sister, but come to Torrington and check it out for your self.

Finally we have plenty to do for your kids.  There is little league, swimming lessons, 4H, FFA, an incredibly active library and several churches with loads of youth programs.   So if you are looking to live in a smaller active community come check out Torrington.
